Microsoft has released Windows XP Service Pack 3 Release Candidate 2 to the general public.

For those of you who want Windows to crash even more, SP3 RC2 is out in the open. But keep in mind that "Release Candidate" is sort of like "Presidential Candidate" in that there is no guarantee that the one you endorse will make it all the way to the Oval Office. My advice: Practice patience and wait until there’s an SP3 out there with no RC at the end.
