Reshade Resizes Images Without Pixelating Them to Death
telecommatt | February 9, 2008Reshade helps you enlarge images without losing quality.
If you haven’t checked out Give Away of the Day, you should. Every day, a new piece of software that you’d normally have to shell out cash for, is free. But it’s only free for 24 hours. You have to install and activate your software within the 24 hour time limit or you’re back to paying full price.
Today’s freebie is graphic resizer, Reshade. This application resizes image files without pixelating them to death. Resizer has a free web app, but the software gives you more features. You can resize an image up to 20x. (Although after about 5x, all my photos looked pretty blurry as if I had photoshopped them with a pastel filter.) Reshade is a pretty solid app to have laying around on your hard drive. I don’t think I’d pay money for it, especially since they have the free (but limited) web app, but it’s very useful and super easy to use.
At the time I posted this, there was about 12 hours yet where you can download this program for free.
